1] Worked in a reputed Convent school in Secondary,
Primary and Montessori sections for 18 years.
2] Working as principal at Meher English School for kids
below poverty line for the last 10 years.
3] Experience of working as consultant for rural children after school
hours. |

Nature of work at present:
|
|
|
Pumpkin House has been established since 2003, but
registered in 2005. We have sheltered about 45 kids from the age group
of 2 yrs to 12 yrs. |
|
We have a group of well- reputed and dedicated
staff and volunteers working seriously for the last 2 years on voluntary
grounds for lack of funds. Needs are met with by help received from
friends. |

Our Achievement:
|
|
We have successfully looked after 25 to 30 kids
with their schooling, boarding, food, medical, etc. Since October 2006,
we have established our own Kindergarten named
“Divine
Grace school”. We plan on increasing a standard each year of the
school till it becomes a full-fleshed one.

|
Our future plans: |
1] We plan on having our own school and an
establishment of our own for the many waiting to be cared by us. We
could also have some vocational training for the kids.
2] To enable the kids to stand on their own feet and face the challenges
of life, we strive hard to give them a good educational background.
Hence, all are educated in English medium. |
